There are a few ways to perform background checks:
1) Your church can conduct a background check on your behalf by creating a child account with Active Screening Faith. Once completed, your church must submit a digital copy of the results to YUFC.

Offers a Multi-State Criminal Search with Alias (including Multi-State/SOR/SSN/Address) for $10.00.
Provides the CIA Super Search – Verified for $9.00, which includes a comprehensive nationwide database search covering national and international sources, criminal repositories, sex offender registries from every jurisdiction, and national security watch-lists.
4)National Crime Search (NCS) – SafeChoice Program
Designed for volunteer and non-profit organizations, the SafeChoice Level I package is priced at $13.95 per search and includes:
- Social Security Number Trace
- Multi-State Criminal Database Search
- National Sex Offender Registry Search
- US Terror Watchlist (OFAC) Search
- County Criminal History
5)Protect My Ministry via MinistryHub
Provides the ‘Essential’ package for $19, which includes
- Multistate Criminal Search
- National Sex Offender Registry
- SSN Trace
- Automatic re-verification of records and possible records
- One Countywide Criminal Search (Auto Populated)
6. Criminal History Search (Texas Residents Only)
For a small fee ($3.00), Texas residents could also perform a criminal history search by creating an account on the Texas DPS Conviction Database
7. Alternative Background Checks
Another option for conducting background checks is to use a third-party provider of your choice. We accept background check results from third-party providers as long as they are submitted directly to YUFC and remain current.
